I’ve spent the last week talking to doctors about what they need. Every healthcare provider has answered that they are running out of, or have already run out of, protective equipment. My family recently found N95 respirators left over from the fires here last year, and I realized that others may have them as well.
If you have N95 respirator masks, surgical masks, gloves, or any other PPE you can make a concrete difference by donating them to providers. While masks and gloves can help keep you safe, we won’t be able to fight this pandemic if it infects our healthcare workforce.
If you’re in the SF Bay Area, you don’t even need to leave your house or apartment. Just click the button below, fill out the form, and we will pick up the equipment from you. If you aren’t, local we will cover any shipping costs of getting the equipment to providers who need it.
If you know someone who might have access to masks or gloves to donate, please pass on this message.
Thank you,
