Thea Health’s software platform allows primary care providers to securely ask questions of specialists and other healthcare providers ahead of treatment decisions (asynchronous electronic consultation). We’ve secured early funding and our product is live in the United States. We are growing fast and changing the way people think about telehealth and getting care.
We are looking for boarded medical specialists consultants to support primary care providers and Thea Health. Help us improve the care experience for patients and providers by making specialty care more accessible to everyone.
This role is a non-traditional role and best for people looking to supplement their income. This role functions as a 1099 and payment is on a per consult basis. Volume varies based on specialty and we consistently check in to make sure we are respecting your bandwidth.

What you’ll be working on:
- Responding to electronic consultations
- Conducting clinical quality check
- Providing second opinions
- Answering primary care provider questions
- Giving feedback to customer success and technical teams
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
- MD or DO Required
- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited residency program and fellowship if applicable
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years
- Board-certified
- Nice to have: multiple State licenses, obtained before your Thea Health start date
