This role is a non-traditional role and best for people looking to supplement their income. This role functions as a 1099 and payment is on a per consult basis. Volume varies based on specialty and we consistently check in to make sure we are respecting your bandwidth.

What you’ll be working on:
- Responding to electronic consultations
- Conducting clinical quality check
- Providing second opinions
- Answering primary care provider questions
- Giving feedback to customer success and technical teams
Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:
- MD or DO Required
- Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited residency program and fellowship if applicable
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years
- Board-certified
- Nice to have: multiple State licenses, obtained before your Thea Health start date

Salary: $100k-$160k OTE – $50k-$75k Base – (based on location and experience)
What You’ll Do
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting strategy through deal close
- Source and qualify new sales opportunities through networking and outbound cold calls/emails
- Develop deep expertise in our customer’s needs and challenges
- Meet with prospective customers to demonstrate our product and explain our value proposition
- Work with product, operations, and leadership teammates to improve our product strategy
- Use your knowledge of customers critical pain points to continuously improve the sales process and contribute to the go-to-market strategy for a rapidly-growing company
What Makes You A Good Fit
- 2+ years outbound SaaS sales experience where you have consistently met or exceeded quota (bonus points if you’ve worked in Health IT or other startups)
- Proficient using a CRM and modern sales tools (e.g. email automation, autodialers) to assist in establishing a high-touch, repeatable sales pipeline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The drive and creativity to consistently overcome obstacles and exceed expectations
- Comfortable independently solving problems in a fast-paced environment

We are looking for a Sales/Business Development Intern to help grow and shape Thea Health working directly with sales and leadership team. Join a passionate team where your voice will be heard, your learning accelerated, your views respected, your limits pushed, and your personal ownership and initiative encouraged. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is passionate about working on technology that will improve the lives of patients and fix some of the problems in our healthcare system.
This role is for a 6-8 week period.
What You’ll Do
- Developing contact list
- Conduct lead generating activities including outbound calls and emails
- Assist in marketing content and brand development
- Support and follow up inbound sales leads from prospective B2B customers
- Learn about prospects’ goals and critical pain points
- Help prospects understand our B2B value proposition
- Strive to continuously improve the sales process
- Learn the ins and outs of healthcare and tech startups
- Fill the gaps as needed (utility player)
