Are you HIPAA compliant?
Security is a key part of our culture. We are HIPAA compliant and sign a BAA with every customer.
What if I don't have any local specialists in my area?
That’s totally fine! If you want to build relationships with local specialists we can find specialists for you or you can use our panel of expert specialists to fill in any gaps.
Who are the specialists on your panel and how do you vet them?
Our specialists are all US-based board certified physicians in their specialty. Typically they work in academic medical centers. In addition to verifying these credentials and the specialists’ licenses, we conduct thorough live training with all specialists and regularly conduct quality audits of our cases. We’re happy to provide more details on our Specialty Quality Program on request.
What are the CPT codes?
Most consults are billed under 99452 but higher reimbursement codes can be used in some instances. Our team will train your providers to bill for the appropriate codes based on your location and payer mix.
How long will it take to get a response?
Not long! We have a median response time of under 2 hours and over 90% of our consults get a response in the same business day.
How are you different than Competitor X?
While there are other companies doing great work improving provider to provider communication we are the only company that allows you to work with local providers. We’re also typically cheaper and more deeply integrated into your workflows.
Do I need to do anything to get other local providers on the platform?
All you need to do is tell us their name! Our team will handle the rest via email, phone, and even in person meetings (COVID permitting).
Does it cost the local specialists money?
It’s free for local specialists to use with your practice. If they want any customization or to get more PCPs on the platform we will charge them a monthly fee.
